CHEMLE saves your current game and your statistics (games played, wins, streaks, guess distribution) in your browser's local storage under the keys chemle:game:v1 and chemle:stats:v1. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

This storage is strictly necessary to provide the game you requested (§ 165 (3) TKG 2021). We do not use cookies, analytics or advertising.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When you visit the site, the provider automatically processes technical data such as your IP address, the date and time of the request, the page requested and your browser type. This is necessary to deliver the site securely (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). Details: https://vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The provider is based in the USA, so this data may be processed there. The transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, under which the provider is certified (Art. 45 GDPR).

When you share a result, CHEMLE only copies a text to your clipboard or opens your device's share menu. What happens next is up to you and the app you share to.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. You can also lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Datenschutzbehörde, dsb.gv.at).
